Advocacy Efforts
What We Do
GNYADA's Advocacy mission is to safeguard and advance the interests of franchised new-car dealers by representing them before local, state, and federal legislators.
The Association evaluates and takes a stance on hundreds of bills each year, engaging in numerous meetings with lawmakers to advocate for changes that protect franchised new car and truck dealers and opposing those that would inturupt bussiness them.
Local
At the local level, GNYADA monitors legislation on a county-by-county basis, providing support to our members across the 12 downstate counties and educating local policymakers about the needs and concerns of franchised new-car dealers.
State
For the State of New York, GNYADA keeps a close eye on legislation that may impact franchised auto dealerships, advocates for bills that benefit these dealers, and works to counteract legislation that could negatively affect our members.
Federal
At the federal level, GNYADA serves as the representative voice of franchised new-car dealers throughout the Metro New York Area. We actively promote the interests of dealers and the auto industry to Congress, the Administration, and other Federal Agencies.
